Hash file

Hi,
In a lot of download software, we can download a file with hash for different way (MD5, SHA1, …) for certificate the validity of the downloaded files.
It will be nice to load these files in QuickHash to validate our download.
I don\\\’t know if it\\\’s easy to implement but it\\\’s more convenient to copy and past in QuickHash software witch is a really useful software.

Thanks again to give us this nice software.

Best regards,
Jean-Daniel Tissot.

Sorry for my poor english.

    Hi Jean-Daniel

No need to apologise for your English. At least you can speak more than one language which is better than me!! I can only speak in English.

I think I understand your question. What you want is to be able to copy and paste a known hash value from an existing source (e.g. a website) and then have QuickHash check if the hash it generates matches the one from your other source. If that is what you are asking, then this is possible. Paste your existing known hash into the “Expected Hash value” field in the “File” tab. Then hash your file. It will tell you if it matches or not.

This is not currently possible for multiple (i.e. lots of) files.

Does this answer your question? Or have I mis-understood your report?
